What should i do to learn fast Sign language without going to a school?

learn your ABC’s here or anywhere you can and YouTube to learn common phrases like “My name is…”, “What’s you name?”, “I’m now learning ASL.” etc. School is prolly your best bet because it not only creates and obligation it exposes you to the environment where folks are constantly signing. School isn’t necessary just understand ASL isn’t signed English, it is its own language. There’s no fast way to learn it without exposure to other signers. Your gonna find everyone has different ways they sign kinda like different accents in English. Just focus on connection not perfection. Good luck.

i’m homeschooled I have sign language class online. It helped me learn the alphabet really really fast. And I can find pretty fast

but if you’re not homeschooled, you could, if your school has a sign language or ASL class you could do that . Otherwise, you could learn on this app or use YouTube videos and find different ASL courses on YouTube

Signing the Sign

Learning a few ASL signs used in Christian worship can help share faith in a clear and meaningful way. • God – An open hand moves upward from the forehead. This represents the nail wounds from the crucifixion. • Pray – Hands together near the chin in a prayer position, representing speaking to God. • Church – Fingers interlock, symbolizing believers gathered together as one body. • Bible – Hands open like a book, representing the Scriptures being read and shared. • Holy Spirit – A hand moves outward from the mouth like breath or wind, reflecting how Scripture often describes the Spirit. Hi👋👋 I am new here I am hearing but I have been around sign language all my life since I was little. I want to say that ASL is a way that all of God's people to be able to communicate. Hearing or not. I thank God for this app and for the ability to learn Asl.

New to ASL

I am not hearing impaired but am speech impaired. My husband is not speech impaired and is not deaf but is quite hard of hearing. I have unilateral vocal chord paralysis with weak voice and tendency for laryngospasms. We just started learning the alphabet and can only fingerspell slowly. He is not speech impaired. Plan is, he will read my signs and speak for me in public. Am on Section 1, ABC 2. Have learned 19 of 26 letters. Years of learning still ahead but one step at a time.
