Delineate b/w his/her/it vs your

I just came across a question where the sign was either like a his/her/it then brother but the answer was allegedly your brother. The sign for your is not the same as the sign for his/her/it. Why would the answer be your brother when the sign for your was never given but the sign for his/her/it brother was given? I shouldn’t have gotten it wrong when the video had the wrong sign.
