argue vs verbal fight

One of the lessons I re-took today had both "argue" and "verbal fight" , how would you define the difference between the two?

This one has repeatedly puzzled me. I wonder if argue is intended to mean a reasonable disagreement or heated discussion, while verbal fight is angry yelling, like cursing at someone. I don’t really know what they intend this to mean.

As I ponder this question a little more, I feel that this might give some insight into the deaf community. We hearers can take for granted this difference, but the deaf, observing this, would have to rely on body language and facial expressions. I’m just guessing as to why an instructor would include this in a beginner’s lesson. Someone thought it was important.

Hi👋👋 I am new here I am hearing but I have been around sign language all my life since I was little. I want to say that ASL is a way that all of God's people to be able to communicate. Hearing or not. I thank God for this app and for the ability to learn Asl.

New to ASL
I am not hearing impaired but am speech impaired. My husband is not speech impaired and is not deaf but is quite hard of hearing. I have unilateral vocal chord paralysis with weak voice and tendency for laryngospasms. We just started learning the alphabet and can only fingerspell slowly. He is not speech impaired. Plan is, he will read my signs and speak for me in public. Am on Section 1, ABC 2. Have learned 19 of 26 letters. Years of learning still ahead but one step at a time.
