I am native to ASL and was wondering what Is the difference between Asl and Bsl?

it's just British sign language, like you know how they say candy floss instead of cotton candy they might switch some of the words to the terms they use. hope this helps a bit

Hey, while it is true that bsl is British Sign Language, unlike with spoken English BSL and ASL and separate languages with minimal overlap, not just different dialects of the same language like British English vs American English

My understanding is that they have separate histories spoken American came from British English but Signed ASL came from French Sign Language via Canada.
