Hey everyone i am a 17f who has a nonverbal friend.. I want to learn asl to help me communicate with him better. Where should I start as a beginner?

start here for the basics and interact with him as much as possible. You will learn more from him than with any app..

Profile Pictures
Okay so this might not be that big of a deal, but, I wish that they had black people or P.O.C in general as profile pictures for everybody not just when you reach a certain level in the app. Currently my profile pictures of a white girl and I'm not white and, I just wish it was different because on other apps, I can customize my profile picture to any character that resembles me most and even, customize little characters. I just think that when it comes to your ethnicity or race, that shouldn't be something that you have to earn in the app. What do you guys think? 🙏🏾🌻
