Hiiiii I’m trying to learn ASL fast but I’m not engrossed in the deaf cominitee are there any other apps that are free that are also helpful?????? Or any tips

i also highly recommend that one!! the sign school app offers a dictionary plus they have different games to help you practice. i’ve been learning through a free course the oklahoma school of deaf offers on their website. the instructors are wonderful and covers more of grammar/sentence structure!! you can sign up to take their courses in december i believe. i recommend signing up for both course 1 & 2 so you have access to both for a few months! you got this :D

Profile Pictures
Okay so this might not be that big of a deal, but, I wish that they had black people or P.O.C in general as profile pictures for everybody not just when you reach a certain level in the app. Currently my profile pictures of a white girl and I'm not white and, I just wish it was different because on other apps, I can customize my profile picture to any character that resembles me most and even, customize little characters. I just think that when it comes to your ethnicity or race, that shouldn't be something that you have to earn in the app. What do you guys think? 🙏🏾🌻
