i’m also learning and I’m not quite good at it, but I have a few tips to learn it better . Just practicing a lot helps so so much. I can count in sign language language really well up to 1 million if I really want to and I can do the whole alphabet and I learned it in about a week. and all of that is just because I practice practice practice.

1. Find a ministry or a program for the deaf get some connections with other deaf or hard of hearing ASL learners. 2. Have fun go in the mirror and practice conversations and your facial cues. 3. Practice,Practice!!!!😁😁😁 Below share ways that have helped you learn:😁

one thing that helped me is if I don’t know a sign since I have a dictionary, I learned a sign and then from there make up like a conversation and sign with the words I know like right now I’m watching a show called switched of birth and that is so amazing cause I’m learning a few things or so

be kind and cordial if you are facing the person they're talking to and want to get their attention wave and try to get their attention and do a small sign like hi or how are you to get them into the conversation if you get lost always sign again or slower please. I've met a good amount of deaf people and they are sooo friendly and they will understand

I would really like to learn grammar and sentence structure. I know a little but I mainly sign English word for word.
I am wondering when… *The person you are talking about is not present* Say your in a conversation and your talking about “him” or “her”, do you specify in the conversation, “girl” before you point on the side of you or “boy” to be specific in who you are talking about? Thx
Hey everyone I hope everyone is doing well! Do y'all have any tips because for some reason it's hard for me to remember and to use. Do anyone else feel the same way? Thx asl fam!!😊😊
Hello intersign! I've only recently started learning ASL and was wonder if anyone has any tips for remembering the different grammer rules and general structure of ASL. I find that whenever I try to practice, I always accidentally slip into English structure. Any help is appreciated, thank you in advance!
If you have to sign topic words first, and there's a sentence about 2 things, what's the sign going first?
