I mean I use quite a few different apps to study since they cover different things there is no reason you should only use one. it also makes sense that an app to learn asl would advertise to people who are already trying to learn asl

I didn’t pay for boost, but I don’t have ads. It just says ads are to make our app better and then five seconds. I can get off of it. It might be because my parents have Parental controls. So lol just put parental controls and you won’t actually have to watch ads.
