What would you like to see next?

Hey everyone! We hope you’re enjoying all the new improvements we’ve been working on over the past couple of months!

We’ve been pretty busy, and Intersign has grown quite a bit. Here are some of the biggest things we’ve added and improved:

- A completely new UI with a cleaner and more modern experience

- The Intersign Forum — a place for the community to connect and share

- Multiple sign languages — you can now learn ASL, BSL, and LSM in the same app

- Lots of quality-of-life improvements to make the overall experience smoother and more enjoyable

- Many bug fixes and performance improvements behind the scenes

What’s next for ASL?

One of our biggest focuses now is expanding our ASL vocabulary.

We currently have over 1,000 signs, but we know that’s not nearly enough. We want Intersign to become a much more complete resource for learning ASL, so we’ll be adding new signs on a monthly basis.

We’re also working on a new dynamic feature that will make it easier for you to discover and learn these newly added signs.

Another area we want to expand is Deaf culture and education. We’ll be introducing new lessons and activities designed to teach more about Deaf culture, history, and the experiences of Deaf communities in general. We believe learning a sign language is about more than just learning signs — understanding the culture behind it is an important part of the journey as well.
