My daughter has finally reached the same level as me in the leagues. We are both currently champion 3. This is her first time being there and going for grand champion. Congrats to her. I'm very proud of her. I have noticed that I am not playing as aggressively as I normally do because I want her to reach grand champion so it looks like I am sacrificing my position. Sacrifice is probably too strong of a word. 🤣 Anyway, I just wanted to put that out there. Being a parent does weird things to your normal competitive behavior I guess. 🤷‍♀️

I don't know what it looks like in your rank but most of the time there is more than one spot that can move up to the next rank so you can probably both win

There's 8 I think. But, there's a lot of people competing. And some are different timezones so they take the top spots no matter what. The first spot was taken when it was 5:20 p.m. here so there's no way we can compete there. She'll get there. I have been many times so I'm not bothered just found it a bit funny that I pulled back for her. 🤣

I love this app. I feel so committed and I am in first place ahead by 300 points. I just wish you could learn unlimited lessons a day and not have the hearts. It gives duolingo vibes

Grand Champion

First, let me congratulate all of the people sitting here at Grand Champion this week. 🥳🎉 Next, I think the novelty of competition has worn off now. The anxiety of competing against 4 people to stay in the top 2 will be my undoing. That's too much stress. 🤣 I'll still keep my streak but, I think it's time for me to find another place to learn more so I can truly be fluent. Afterall, I'm doing this so I can teach my deaf son since cochlear repeatedly fails him. Again, congrats. You all are doing great. 🥰🤗
