Am i the only one who feel they teaching wrong sign? No hate but i think i cant understand what they signing even if i already how to sign it but they sign it differently. I want to learn but they making me confuse please some clear this up for me??

I think there are multiple ways to sign something and I think you just learned a deferent way than the app. You can always find a different app if you would like.

Just like with spoken languages, there are many accents and dialects in ASL! It’s kind of like how some say “pop” and others say “soda”. It’s not the wrong way, just a different way :)

There are multiple ways. Think about how in different parts of a country people say it differently. It is the same thing with ASL

I understand the frustration of seeing a different sign for something you've already learned. I've been looking up the signs on Signing Savvy when I want to confirm I remembered correctly. While it is frustrating, I know it will help me better understand different people. Not everyone will sign using the same versions I've been taught. It's helpful to see the different variations for the same word.

it’s definitely asl u should maybe do the glossary first it show the correct way to sign, but if u never signed it takes time and patience. gl

I am wondering when… *The person you are talking about is not present* Say your in a conversation and your talking about “him” or “her”, do you specify in the conversation, “girl” before you point on the side of you or “boy” to be specific in who you are talking about? Thx
I am not sure about sign order. One of the questions in a section exam is to pick the sign order for the phrase “My car is black.” I have tried every combination of selecting the signs for my, car, black … rearranging the signs like “car black my” or “my car black” or “car my black” … and none of them are correct. What is the correct order? My main critique of this app is that it does not adequately teach sentence structure. It mentions it like once and gives no continued instruction to understand how to handle new adjectives.
