Are most youtube videos reliable to watch for asl??

To start I've been watching videos signing songs in asl

And I'm worried that some either are exact signing of the words (I forgot the name but it's when you don't use asl grammer like how you don't say my name is you say my name, me or Or wrong/outdated I was watching someone signing "Beautiful Boy" and when he signed "Before You Sleep"

I had to look it up "before" since he did it too fast on my other app and it was different and I want to make sure that isn't common to put up fake or exact wording to asl + any rec of any people I can watch

(ALSO EXTRA DONT GOTTA READ the reason I'm doing it like this is so I can sign while in my room singing because I haven't found a way to sign and have a convo bc I'm not really a talker + I do Karioki on Roblox, so I'm singing a lot)

I am wondering when… *The person you are talking about is not present* Say your in a conversation and your talking about “him” or “her”, do you specify in the conversation, “girl” before you point on the side of you or “boy” to be specific in who you are talking about? Thx

help with grammer/structure

Hello intersign! I've only recently started learning ASL and was wonder if anyone has any tips for remembering the different grammer rules and general structure of ASL. I find that whenever I try to practice, I always accidentally slip into English structure. Any help is appreciated, thank you in advance!
