I am doing Asl to be able to spread the gospel through sign to those who are deaf. I want also to communicate with others no language barrier no awkward silence just Joy and fellowship. God is so good and He gave me the passion for Asl

I am at the exam section 4 I knew some sign language from a young age but just continued to learn throughout the years I know my Aslphabet and numbers And some conversational sign even a part of a song. I yearn to learn so much more.

I am doing ASL for one, to be able to sign if I need to communicate to a deaf person, and two, so me and my friend can talk to eachother without worrying if other people hear or not.

I am soon to be functionally deaf
Hello, my name is Kris and as the title states I am soon to be deaf as I have some inner ear issues that will require having the middle ear bones removed from my right ear and my left ear is already mostly deaf. I'm really enjoying learning ASL so far and I'm looking forward to being able to still hold conversations with some even though I won't really be able to hear. halftime show thoughts?
Firstly, I loved the superbowl halftime show, as a non Spanish speaker! I thought it was a lot of fun! And then I saw clips of PRSL/ LSPR translators preforming as well and I felt so touched for those who felt represented! I couldn't understand the signs, but I had a smile and was dancing the whole time watching it! What did you guys think??

Interpreting Songs
I've heard from a deaf discord group that interpreting songs isn't ok and goes against deaf values, but I then came across a content creator who was interpreting songs, by the artist I was planning to do at that. (Stray Kids if you're curious) I'm hearing, and very very new into sign. I'm just wondering if my self interpreting songs would be ok? I would start with SEE, but I hope to eventually do it in proper ASL. Just hoping for advice. Thanks!!
