Do deaf churches sing songs or do that only do preaching and praying? I know people can feel the vibrations and someone signing but I just don’t know. Thx ☺️

I don’t think there are “Deaf” Churches”. it isn’t as if all people who are deaf have the same spiritual beliefs. I think there are some inclusive churches that accommodate and include people who are deaf. Many times knowing 1 deaf person is knowing ONE deaf person- because we are all individuals. we might have some similarities/experiences but as a whole we are all very different.

okay but my ASL teacher showed us a clip of her deaf church were she is translating sign language for all the hearing people in the room because the pastor is signing the whole service

My dad is hearing but has preached and helped lead a deaf church in Michigan until they were able to find a permanent pastor. They would sign sing to worship songs. They would normally have the words up on the screen and have the music playing for everyone that wasn't profoundly deaf. I'd say it was probably about 75-85% deaf and then the rest was their families.
