para learning asl

Hey all! I’m a para at a grade school and we had a student who had asl services and so I started doing online classes to learn to help him. It’s been fun but I’ve forgotten a lot since last yr because there isnt much opportunity to use it (he didn’t like using it much and is now at the middle school) but I still choose to keep practicing and learning. Hopefully I’ll keep learning and one day it may come in handy.

Hello!! I’m new to ASL and Jesus. ASL began for me as a way to “sing and dance” to Christian music. I can’t sing and don’t dance much anymore. I found so much joy on so many levels. Healing, learning, a whole new perspective. My goal is to help people learn to cope and navigate hard and chaotic times of crisis. I put that on hold to immerse myself into the deaf culture and become part of the community and hope to expand my methods of coping with those needing a various form of support. Meanwhile, I’m being in my own coaching and therapy as a student. I’ve learned peace and quiet. I’ve learned to listen to God. All this possible because I fell in love with ASL. I want to share this amazingly beautiful language exploration and built my knowledge to eventually help more. Help me in my emotional and spiritual journey and I’ll help you too.

Section 14 - Adjectives 3 - Mistake in Exam?

Hello, first time poster here. I am trying to get thru my latest exam in Adjectives 3 in Section 14. For some reason I can’t seem to supply the correct “response” in translating the ASL into English on 2 different questions. The 3rd question in the exam: I thought it was something along the lines of “Ripe oranges are perfect for juicing” which is being marked incorrect. I have tried a bunch of various different responses though. To no avail… Secondly there’s another question close to the end that I keep getting wrong too. I thought it was “Ripe strawberries are sweet” but that too is being marked as incorrect. I don’t see a lot of wiggle room to get to the “correct” answer. What ever it might be wanting 🤔 And I cannot continue on my path until I pass this exam. 😔 Any assistance would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
