Hi I just started learning ASL about a year ago, and I feel like I have learned a bunch of signs and I know a lot of signs but do you guys have a TV show or any other apps ( and also where to find them) to help me improve my ASL a little bit more and any tips and tricks that help any of y'all on y'all's journey.Thank you guys so much and have a nice day!!! π
merry Christmas
I hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday and that you all are happy and healthy π
just started learning
I just started learning and came across the word 'good'. The first person signed it with flat hand at the chin and bringing it out and down. When it came time to translate a sentence, the second person did the above but the hand came to rest on the other palm up hand. Is that a regional difference? I thought one was good and the other was thank you?
talking about anything
New to ASL
I am not hearing impaired but am speech impaired. My husband is not speech impaired and is not deaf but is quite hard of hearing. I have unilateral vocal chord paralysis with weak voice and tendency for laryngospasms. We just started learning the alphabet and can only fingerspell slowly. He is not speech impaired. Plan is, he will read my signs and speak for me in public. Am on Section 1, ABC 2. Have learned 19 of 26 letters. Years of learning still ahead but one step at a time.
merry Christmas and happy new years ππ
hello everybody and hello everybody that's new

Hi, Iβm new to the forum.
Iβve been using InterSign ASL for a couple years. I love learning ASL. I live in Prince George BC Canada. Thereβs no one to practice with. I look forward to learning with you all!
Just saying Hiπππ
Hiππ I am new here I am hearing but I have been around sign language all my life since I was little. I want to say that ASL is a way that all of God's people to be able to communicate. Hearing or not. I thank God for this app and for the ability to learn Asl.
