I am in section 11 and starting to feel like I just need to go back and do more refreshing to remember past words and practice what I have already learned rather than continue to add more. In the videos for sentences, I am forgetting some of the signs used that were taught several lessons ago (and frankly, never recall being taught the sign for “number” yet that was in a sentence). I can figure out the sentence but I have to watch the videos multiple times and then it helps having the choices of words below it to figure it out, but in the real world, I’m not going to have the choices of words underneath somebody signing to me, so it feels a bit like cheating. It is learning but with a lot of help. Anyway, not asking a question just sharing that it is starting to feel like my brain is full and I still gave 6+ sections to finish and still need to refresh and practice. Maybe around section 10 insert a “practice what you’ve learned so far” section.

So yesterday I was doing my ASL and it was the last lesson I could do for the day the add was super long so I went and closed all tabs and went back on the app but then it said that I already completed the lesson but it wasnt giving me my league points. I bought the refill hearts thing and did and extra lesson and it still didnt give me my points. Now I am behind and will be in Champion 2 for the second week. I would like this to be fixed.

I checked out the Advanced Spelling section that lists several Waves. I was able to go in and did the first 5 words of Wave 1. I stopped for the night. Ever since, now when I try to go back and do the 6th word in Wave 1, a notice pops up and it is requiring me to join the paid membership. Are the spelling practices only for monthly paying members? I was able to do the first 5 words without being a paying member. Was that the limit and I just happened to have decided to stop coincidentally?

Okay so this might not be that big of a deal, but, I wish that they had black people or P.O.C in general as profile pictures for everybody not just when you reach a certain level in the app. Currently my profile pictures of a white girl and I'm not white and, I just wish it was different because on other apps, I can customize my profile picture to any character that resembles me most and even, customize little characters. I just think that when it comes to your ethnicity or race, that shouldn't be something that you have to earn in the app. What do you guys think? 🙏🏾🌻

In Sect 8, verbs 3, the sign for “wish” is presented. I noticed it looked a lot like the sign for “hungry” that I learned before I started doing this app. I checked the Dictionary but noticed Hungry is not one of the words taught in this app. But just thinking, it looks a lot like “wish.” Although the hand may go down the chest further to the stomach to indicate like food going down to the belly.

In Section 8, Verbs 3, Lesson 1, when going through the questions, one of the videos shows 3 signs: Homework I Forgot So my answer was: “I forgot the homework.” But apparently this was wrong. The answer was: “I forgot to do the homework” How are we supposed to know the difference? One could mean a person did the homework but forgot to bring it or turn it in. Or forgetting the homework could also mean forgetting to do it. But there are only the 3 signs.

While sign order is shown for a conversation of topic then comment, what if you are signing a song? Would it be appropriate to just sign each word as the singer sings it? Especially with some songs where the words can come quickly, if you have to wait and rearrange the words after the singer has already sung them, you’d end up getting far behind, and that would be very difficult to keep up.
